Hello! This is a blog for me to write about my experience as part of the Disney College Program at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. I have been accepted into the program as a merchandise cast member. This means, I will be working in a retail shop somewhere in the parks. I will not know my exact location until the day I arrive.
I will be heading down to Florida August 15 for a mini family vacation and then officially moving into my apartment on August 18. I will be living in a fully furnished apartment and will be paid an hourly rate for work.
As a part of the program, I will be able to participate in workshop series or even take some courses. At the moment, I am not planning on taking any courses while I am down there.
I am so excited for this next adventure in my life! I will be trying to write on this blog as much as possible to keep my friends and family back home updated on how things are going.
So, I will be writing later as my packing process begins!
